Mere had some close friends visit this summer. On her left, Megan, is now working in the Seattle area after graduating from NDSU.
On her right, is UMM house mate, Nicole. If she looks tan it is because she's in medical school in Granada.
Firemann moved into a private room at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center in Bismarck. His house is up for sale and there will be an auction of many household items in late June. Reed should be home in time to help with that.
While there are obvious disadvantages to not living in his own home, one benefit of living at Missouri Slope is the wealth of entertainment there. The local Sons of Norway lodge performs at the center three to four times a year. Front left in the photo are Amy and Hank Wisness, good friends of Firemann.
Many of these folks are 80+ and still know how to kick up their heels.
