Sunlight poured the several windows of the Brad and Sherry Legreid home atop a north Bismarck hill. A recent article in the Bismarck Tribune said the temperature in north Bismarck is 10 degrees warmer than that at official weather station site near the airport southeast of town. "It scares off potential business," the Tribune claimed. Yeah, right.
Sherry and Brad get the food ready.
Reed got all duded up for the occasion and posed here with his grandfather.
Speaking of things military, Harold shows Brad and Pam where son Brent will be
stationed in Afghanistan very soon. He also gave us an overview of some
current conditions in that country.
Here's the "electrifying" J. Morgan Legreid, posing in his
bedroom. The light on his face emanates from a projector on the south side
of his room. The light box in the northeast corner, shown here, pulsates
with ever-changing blocks of color. With the addition of more than
1,000 Christmas lights gifted him, J. Morgan's room promises to rival anything
the Griswolds* could muster.
Happy New Year from our family to yours.
*The movie, "Christmas Vacation" (1989) starred Chevy Chase as Clark Griswold who had several good lines including:
Bethany: Is your house on fire, Clark?
Clark Griswold: No, Aunt Bethany, those are the Christmas lights.
