A Golden Birthday

Meredith celebrated her 18th birthday December 18th, a "Golden Birthday," or so I'm told.  Pam did the planning and most of the preparation (as usual) while Dad's major role was to get Meredith out of the house for an hour before guests arrived for a surprise party.  Easy enough.  I took Meredith and friend Megan to the Ground Round for dinner.

When we got back home, Firemann's van was the only extra car in the yard, nothing out of the ordinary.  But when Meredith stepped into the kitchen, it was obvious something was going on judging by the food, decorations, more food, and soon--doorbell ringing.

bday2.JPG (140702 bytes) You can tell these girls were raised by parents who took lots of photos.  Great smiles, every one.
