'Twas the Night before Christmas

 The holidays are starting out right.  We've heard from lots of friends and relatives, their cards and photos lining the kitchen cabinets.  Reed arrived without a hitch from North Carolina.  The lady at the airport parking lot in Charlotte even gave him something to Christmas cheer about: "There's no charge for you to park here, soldier."

Reed and Meredith carry on the tradition of decorating the tree with old ornaments and new.

Grandma Irene sits at her newly-acquired computer.  She's been on-line for over a year using Web-TV but this is the first PC she's owned.  Now she can experience the frustrations the rest of us have put up with for years.

Grandpa Firemann busies himself with baking sandbakkels.  They were quite good, too.
