Bye, Bye, B.H.S.

She's no longer a Demon.  Well, at least not an active one.  Meredith graduated from Bismarck High School on Sunday, May 25.  The Bismarck Demon is the school mascot.  The whole graduation process started earlier in the month.

1grad.JPG (117674 bytes)  On May 19, a tradition at Church of the Cross was followed when all graduating seniors who are members of the congregation receive a quilt made by the ladies of the church.

2grad.JPG (95828 bytes)  Meredith posed with one of the quilters, Shirley Grondahl.

3grad.JPG (138623 bytes)  Later that day, we all went to the Heinle's where Jenna, another B.H.S. grad, held an open house for friends and family.  Three [formerly] Burwick sisters attended and are shown at left.  They are Jim's aunts Geneva Affolter and Bernice Gaydos, and his Mom, Irene.

8grad.JPG (153130 bytes)  Jack Kline and spouse Shannon were lifesavers in keeping people fed and the place tidy.

9grad.JPG (123591 bytes)  Brad and Sherry Legreid's daughter, Janelle, shares a chair with Mere.

10grad.JPG (153182 bytes)  Classmate Jenny, and the Nelsons enjoy a story.

11grad.JPG (84693 bytes)  It was a beautiful day, in more ways than one.
