Bye, Bye, B.H.S.
She's no longer a Demon. Well, at least not an active one. Meredith graduated from Bismarck High School on Sunday, May 25. The Bismarck Demon is the school mascot. The whole graduation process started earlier in the month.
On May 19, a tradition at Church of the Cross was followed when all graduating
seniors who are members of the congregation receive a quilt made by the ladies
of the church.
Meredith posed with one of the quilters, Shirley Grondahl.
Later that day, we all went to the Heinle's where Jenna, another B.H.S. grad,
held an open house for friends and family. Three [formerly] Burwick
sisters attended and are shown at left. They are Jim's aunts Geneva
Affolter and Bernice Gaydos, and his Mom, Irene.
On the big day, Meredith was awarded her diploma from school board member Aruna
Seth. Looking on is B.H.S. principal Tom Hesford.
After the ceremony, we held an open house. Barb [Olson] Shimmins and Linda
Legreid help out with the preparations.
Meredith poses with Grandpa Legreid and Grandma Vukelic.
Jack Kline and spouse Shannon were lifesavers in keeping people fed and the
place tidy.
Brad and Sherry Legreid's daughter, Janelle, shares a chair with Mere.
Classmate Jenny, and the Nelsons enjoy a story.
